So, Tom, what's on the horizon? Anything being tinkered with currently that might make its way into production? Any NAMM show goodies to unveil?

we spent more time on pickups the last few months than in years. the results have been staggeringly great. you'll start seeing some different looking and sounding pickups along with some simple yet wide ranging switching. we've also done some interesting proto types. some of which may make it into real production. "real production", that sounds funny. every guitar is built to order and treated like one of our children so maybe that's not the right term. how about "available option". we have sometimes been criticized for not letting people order whatever they want. we've been doing this for a really long time and usually when we say no, it's because we've tried it and thought there were better ways to get the result. yes sometimes it's just personal preference, like no painted headstocks on maple necks:o but hey, they do have my name on them.

Great info on the pups. Let us know when you have some teaser info on those!

I understand on the business side of not going too far out there with special requests as the ROI is just not worth it. Of course, if you ever want to offer a Cobra CT (with or without matching headstock on maple:D ), I'll definitely be in line.

Hmmm...I wonder if a semi-hollow archtop thingy complete with f-holes could be coming along... /dream.

If TAG made a 335-like, it would be hard to resist. Just sayin' ;)

I'm still waiting for a Hollow Drop-top Bouzouki! Or maybe a "Bouzoukister Plus." Maybe "Irvinester" would be more fitting...

Never gonna happen... oh wait... as you were. ;)

Actually, I've been thinking a set of the covered 'buckers in black chrome would look smashing on my HCS. :D

Because of this post, I bought a semi hollow f hole thingy from another Manu today.
I feel dirty cheating on my hollow cobra.

Great news. Now will we see pole pieces on any of them? ;)

not with metal covers but there will be an uncovered sonic counterpart.

Semi hollow carved top with f-holes; Double neck Crowdster-Plus 12 string and Atom; and any maple-neck TAG with a painted headstock is all I want for Xmas :D

All I want is a rhythm pickup on my Crowdster Plus.

I'll sacrifice the Acoustic/both/Electric switch for it. I pretty much never use that switch.
