That is true. Considering how much good ones cost and how little they get used!

Arion SCH-1 is supposed to be the best pos cheapo pedal ever!!! LOL

It's on David Grissom's live rig..........says a lot to me.

The word has been out about how good they sound, and so the eBay prices have inflated accordingly!!

I have been searching for a couple of months, and finally pulled the trigger. I found a used one at a price I was willing to pay. Mine is due in two days. I'll post with impressions.

Tom...did you get one? How do you like it?

I've got the one from E.W.S. It's the SCH-Z mod model and love it!

mine will be in a loop strip so the true bypass isn't important to me. i think i remember hearing a comparison of that mod and it was very nice. curious about what it changes in the vibrato setting. have you heard both versions?

I've never had the original Arion but I can say that both the chorus and vibe settings are fantastic on this model. Sometimes I wish I had 2 of them on my board. I also love having a tone control. A lot of the chorus pedals that I tried sounded great at home but when it came to a live situation it would get a little lost due to lack of highs/brightness and having the tone control really helps in that situation.... I found that it sounded better in-front of my amp! Let me know how it sounds for you.....

I've had the same experience, John. I use my Klon and turn up the "treble" knob on the Klon to compensate for the lost highs on most vib/chrous pedals.

My SCH-1 was supposed to be here today...........still awaiting it's arrival!!

Gone through about 10 of them....I have an older one, sch-1, that sounds like a freakin organ !! Trails off perfect...Great chorus, I did go through some I personally didnt like though... there is a difference to my ears, then again I'm half deaf.....:o

I got the Arion Chorus SCH-1 today. It's nice!! The chorus is lush and fat...very rich sounding. Set properly, this thing will do an outstanding "Leslie" rotating sound emulation as well. I've only had a short bit to play it. I used it in it's mono setting.

When I have a chance, I'll compare it to my Sweetsounds MojoVibe, and report back.
