That looks just like the one with Lollar Pups installed that just went off e-bay. Had my eye on that one for a few days. Love the natural finish.
Almost looks like a small finish crack at the neck pocket in the one pic. Is that the case, or does the picture just give that appearance?

Hey enrico---------I hope my previous post didn't come off as offensive. I know your description says "like new" condition, and I don't mean to question your honesty. Please don't take it that way. However, do you see what I'm referring to in the close-up shot of the neck pocket?
Just felt I had to ask. Beautiful guitar by the way. I love 3-PUP T's.
enrico is the photo master around here. i'm sure he put that photo in to make sure people could see the finish crack. they are very common in fender style neck joints. almost always just the finish and not the wood.

My apologys to enrico!!!!!
I just re-read his description and he does in fact mention the finish crack. Man-----do I feel STUPID!!!!!! ( I'm sooooooo glad it's Friday, Ha).
Back to staring at enrico's Hollow T. That natural finish is calling my name.

No apologies needed Gasman- Actually, the small finish crack is even harder to see in person- I try to shoot any cosmetic blems at various angles so that light accentuates them.
This is a great playing guitar ( as all Andersons) but that road bicycle I picked up a few months ago needs a new Campagnolo 11 gruppo :o

Thanks Tom but I am still only "grasshopper" of the photo master Roy ( maybe) :)
Question: The born date this one is around the transition time to
SS frets. Is there any definite way to confirm just by looks whether they are SS or could this only be validated via the build records at your shop?
Thanks!

That is one beautiful guitar!
In case you didn't know, swamp ash, while being an awesome wood for guitar bodies, is an absolute bear to finish. It has a very open pore structure (which helps make it lightweight) that requires filling and filling and filling some more before putting on the final finish.
Since the objective is to keep the body lightweight, the time and effort required to get the pores filled without doubling the weight is huge. This guitar looks perfect! If I could do work like this myself I'd be one proud SOB!
One more testament to the incredible craftsmanship of TAG instruments...as the song says, "Nobody does it better..."
the stainless info would only be in the hardcopy book we keep on the guitars. i'll have to check on monday. on second thought, it is stainless. we started in early 2002, so by mid 2002 all was stainless.

The Classic T contoured has landed. Thanks Enrico for a great guitar and a very thorough packing job!
Fedex International Priority Service worked flawlessly with accurate tracking reports.
I will try to take pics of my small Anderson family this weekend and make a (somewhat overdue) post in the new members section.

Hi Shad,
Thanks. I couldn't resist. :D A T Classic is a nice addition to the family.
Flying over again would have been fun, but wasn't an option this time since my wife just gave birth to our second daughter.
I am still enjoying the Hollow T and the Classic very much.
Best regards,
Douke
