Are you thinking about the 88 key hammer weighted one? I've played that and it feels great, but 88 keys is just too big for my needs. It seems none of the 61's are hammer weighted or have any midi controllers which I find super important for the EXS24 or the B3.

Check out the Studiologic keyboards. They are hammer weighted AND come in smaller sizes, 76, 61, and have lots of Midi controllers on them. I have one on back order for my studio

Good luck. The more I work in Logic, the more I like that program. And that's coming from a guy who has over 10,000 hours in Pro Tools. I just used Waveburner to sequence a CD this weekend. Wow, it's like I have a mini mastering lab right on my laptop. Man, have times changed since I cut my first acetate in '77.

I second Logic as a great recording platform. I only have slightly less than a year under my belt but, it has been a great year.

Anyway, I agree with Studiorat, the Studio Logic keyboards are nice.

Mark,

So glad you like Logic.

I'm sitting here in Atlanta Hartsfield - delayed of course, mixing a project on my laptop. I can't do that in Pro Tools. I started the project at home in Logic. Did all the programming and guitars, went into the studio, bounced to Pro Tools, under dubbed bass drums, vocals, acoustic guitars, mando, banjo, etc, bounced back to Logic where I've been mixing in my spare time over Thanksgiving. I'll check it on "real" monitors tomorrow in the am and then post on an FTP for my client. What a way to work.

My son uses one of these a M Audio Axiom 25 works really cool with Logic it allows all the controls to be programmed the what every he is using. Also when he did the one on ones at Apple it is what they use. By the way the one on one was $99 for one lesson a week for a year best investment I ever did.
