Any info. is much appreciated . . .
Is it possible to reshape the neck (Hollow Cobra S - 4 bolts) from '62 roundback to Happy Medium (possibly +.030)? Would this be cost effective? I think I've seen in other threads that a new neck is around $600.
new necks are $500+ shipping. reshape is $200+shipping. there is a limit to how small we can make a big neck since the t rod is deeper in a bigger neck. 62 to hm is ok.

Tom, if I want a new (fatter) neck for a guitar, do I need to send the entire guitar or can I fit it in the confines of my home? If possible (and if I decided I needed to do this) I would prefer not to ship it to So Cal and back.

anderson policy is that they'll only swap out a neck, therefore, you have to send in the guitar to have it fitted and installed.
correct, we really want to make sure it's playing the way it should before it leaves.
