Elixir Cables w TAG Purchase?

I just saw on a dealer's website that TAG is working with Elixir to give away a 10' cable with every new TAG purchased. Sweet!

When did this officially go into effect? (I remember the supreme commander talking about it back in April/May?)

for the past few weeks we'ver been shipping guitars with the coupon to get the cable. we also shipped coupons to dealers so that all guitars in stock would also qualify. you just mail in the coupon and elixir sends out the free cable. pretty cool and easy.

That'd be cool. It used to be a pick of T-shirt or strap, and that was a hard enough choice.

So, basically you needed to get two guitars to get one of each. Now you'll need a third guitar to get the free Elxir cable. :D

PS. Clearly economics isn't my strong point. ;)

everything that is eligible will have a card in the case. this will run for about a year. it's a pretty amazing free gift. i think elixir is pretty darn generous.
