You know, it seems that bad news gets spread fast but sometimes good deeds go unnoticed. So I just have to take a minute and spread some good news about Matt (Matthias) at Telenordia (www.telenordia.de).
I bought Overdrive and Compression pedals from him several months ago. He makes incredible germanium based pedals. I have tried most OD's and compressors and his are at the top of my list. Anyway, I had a couple questions about best practices for running germanium based pedals on a pedalboard (I am going through the arduous task of reconfiguring my board and I am completely overwhelmed with the number of choices for choosing a board, running snakes, power, loopers, etc.). He answered right away with a very thorough and thoughtful reply.
Then, a few weeks went by where I was traveling and I did not get back to him with my choice (which, frankly still has to be made). So today, out of the blue, I got a very nice email from Matt just asking how I had gotten on(!). I mean, the guy took the time and effort to follow up on an email thread (that consisted of only an answer and reply) that had been sitting dormant in his inbox for about a month! I wasn't even talking about buying more stuff from him!
I find that sort of customer service absolutely amazing and completely above and beyond the call of duty SO PLEASE CHECK OUT HIS AMAZING PEDALS AT http://www.telenordia.de/ AND BUY SOMETHING IF YOU CAN!
