After seeing an interview with Lincoln Brewster (well known guitarist who formerly played with Steve Perry), he pointed out that everyone should have a "volume pot modification" that has a capacitor and resistor that allows one to back off the volume while not "losing the top end." I've experimented with backing off the volume on my Crowdster+ with a stereo cable. When backing off the volume, it does clean up but I can't tell if I'm losing the top end. The volume pot for the acoustic seems like a true volume pot - off to full without changing the tone.
What type of volume pots are on the Crowdster+? Would a "volume pot modification" be a worthwhile mod on a Crowdster+? If so, what type of modification?
Thanks for your help!
