... I bought a Trussart.
Considering that I can't afford it, that's pretty silly. Now I got to let go of some gear to pay for her, but in the mean time, I can't wait to get her. :)
If you were one of the few people on this Earth who paid attention to my earlier post, you may remember that I have been dying to get one for a long time. Well, I finally pulled the trigger.

I played a couple of these at Elite Music in Alabama. I thought they were pretty neat. Unique sound, and they remind of all the things that are hip about vintage patio furniture from the 50's and 60's.
I actually thought they were going to be heavy (they weren't) and too nasal in the midrange, like a resonator guitar- but plugged into an amp, they were nice and growly.

Thanks for the info. Can't wait to verify it.
Would you believe the seller already shipped it and sent me the confirmation message? Amazing.
Very cool looking axe, Mojo. I look forward to your impressions, and maybe some more photos and video/audio of that baby, too!!!
When do you expect her to touch down?

It already shipped - about two hours after I paid for it. That's one golden seller right there. I think he said she'd be here Tuesday. Can't wait :)

Well, just for fun, a quick review of my latest guitar, a Trussart Deluxe Steelcaster w/ Seymour Duncan Antiquities pickups. I played through a Carmen Ghia amp for clean tones. Another video through the Ghia is uploading, and a third video, this time through the Mini Z is forthcoming.

Great guitar mojo,
I love thinline teles, I have had 3 made over here in the UK by a great builder called Chris George, I agree about the saddles too, i think the 3 brass ones will improve the tone but maybe not the intonation?
What did you get it for if you dont mind me asking?:)
