Just got back from Boston and Styx here in Atlanta. Tom Scholz nails that signature tone live and put on a great performance. I did not realize Michael Sweet of Stryper fame was co-lead singing on this tour, but he and Tommy DeCarlo really give Brad Delp's vocals a lot of credit in their singing. Tom played the Gold Top P-90/Humbucker "Mighty Mouse" LP most of the night and Michael played a PRS Mira all night (no Anderson tonight, though I've seen him in photos playing one before).

Cool show and LOUD...my ears are ringing like mad.

I saw that show in New York. Very good, and I totally agree. But Styx TOTALLY smoked and stole the show! I am a huge Sweet fan, but Styx took the show for sure.
It was awesome to see Tommy Shaw and Larry Gowan play.
Overall, an entertaining night.

Styx played a great set too. I thought Tommy Shaw's tone with the Taylor Custom Electric (looked like a Koa top) was really good too. I kept waiting for Tommy to break out into Coming of Age or Come Again from the Damn Yankees days during his solo set.

On another note, if you get a chance to see a show at the new Amphitheater in Alpharetta (North Atlanta), check it out. Great venue for a show.
