Anyone ever done the Hendrix thing with a TAG?
It would look cool, but what about the tone?
I saw a used TAG southpaw for sale, and couldn't help but let my mind go there.
Let's here what you think!

I have not seen a TAG done that way. As for tone, I'm not sure it would make much of a difference. The Bridge pup would slant the opposite way, but the variation in tone on the low-e and high-e because of that would be very subtle.
If you play higher than the 12th fret much, your access to the highest frets is diminished by the extra horn length and body mass on the underside with the reverse look.
It doesn't hurt to try it out for fun, but to me, it would be more for appearance than performance.

I can't see the logic why you should do it, only for the looks?
I'm a lefty and should never want a right handed guitar, the knobs are in the way, upper fret acces is limited, strap at the wrong side, all reasons why not to go for it.

You righties shouldn't have to flip a guitar. Yes, you would have to change the nut and make sure it is properly intonated. However, if you want to do the inverted Hendrix thing, go for it.
I think lefty TAGs should go to deserving lefties like me. Therefore, if you see a lefty TAG sitting around, feel free to send it my way. I will give it a loving home for sure. :)
