Crowdster Through Acoustasonic Amp

Tried the Crowdy through a Fender Acoustasonic Jr today and it was pretty nice. I also played it through a Cali. Blonde and an old style Ultrasound AG-30 and really didn't like the AG-30. The blonde was pretty good too.

blonde's tend to be really bass heavy, so watch you're bass control. you'll have a better sound if you cut the bass on the amp rather than the guitar. the fishman loud box is the loudest best sounding amp i have heard.

I may have to look into one of those fishy loud boxes. Are they heavy? Average price?

If you can find one, try the Crowdster through an AER.
Compact 60 or the Domino, they've been a huge success over here. Perfect match you might say.

I tried the loud box and have to say it didn't cut it. The Crowdy broke up the amp without getting all that loud. I tried the Acoustasonic again and a/b'ed the old one against the new DSP one and I think the new one has more guts. Fender changed the speakers to a foam edged type and it seems to punch better than the older version. I used it at a Good Friday service without a sound check and it went really well. I'm having a little problem with the tweeter breaking up just slightly and I may have to look into better quality piece there. My poor Taylors are getting no playing time these days, this Crowdster is just too much fun!
