Very nice. Thinking about an S classic to use in the place of my Strat.

I'm loving this guitar so far. Thinking about moving some other ones a result (a PRS & a Fender).

Man, that's FINE! For me, that comes pretty close to a perfect guitar (depending on neck specs). Daphne (or is it sonic?) with tort, maple neck, SS grets, BFTS, SSH with split and add bridge I assume.

I own four TAGS but not that combo...don't know why. But, I think my next one may just be a ripoff of yours if you don't mind.

Oh, my! Me likey! I have an H2 and pickguard on order for my Drop Top Classic for a similar configuration. I'm guessing you are going to do a lot of grinning... Enjoy!

that's awesome. I'm working on getting a classic as well. Yours only stirs the pot. :)

Bigtime Congratulations on your new guitar.

It's "ice blue" which is close to Sonic. Here are the specs:

1 5/8 nut
even taper
medium frets
vintage trem
locking tuners
SC1, SC1, H2+ pickups

I modeled after my first American Standard Strat I had 10 years ago.

alder body? Solid or hollow?

I've been dreaming of an almost identical spec for a while! Awesome!

Sorry, solid alder.

Hmmm...now you have me thinking.

I just speced out my next Andy as a Classic T in Light Baby Blue and I am going for a Daphne Blue.

Daphne is darn close to Sonic Blue - maybe I would be better off with Ice Blue? Thoughts?

we don't officially have daphne blue. it is so close to sonic or what we call baby blue. ice blue is a reduced density baby blue, like surf green is a reduced density sea foam green.

it sure is lovely to say the least!

To me Baby Blue has way more "blue" in it then either Sonic or Daphne Blue. The pics I've seen on the Anderson Gallery seem like Light Baby Blue is the closest to either Daphne or Sonic. Ice Blue is the least "blue" and appears ot be the most faded of the colors with more of a grey hue to it.

Accurate? What is the closest to Daphne??

Thanks, Rob

i never seen a real daphne that didn't have 30 years of yellowing lacquer on it. all the newer ones i've seen are someone's interpretation of what they think they remember. computer monitors have even more variation than that.
