I saw this one posted at TGP as well and was just about to PM you Tom. Sounds like what you're looking for. I really like my Duende!

It is a great little amp, I originally bought it because I love my Shiva so much (EL34's). But I have quite a few 6V6 amps ('65 Deluxe Reverb, '65 Princeton Reverb) that get more play. The Duende is a very versatile little box though.

Tom,
I borrowed Brian Tong's Duende for a weekend retreat while my MOD50 was being converted from a combo to a head/cab last year. The Duende is a smokin' great amp. For me personally, NOTHING displaces my Egnater, but the Duende was so warm and swampy. I can't gush enough.
I played a smaller gig at a little place up in LA last month and the gal before us had Mark Goldenberg playing guitar with her. He was using a little Duende 1x10 proto that sounded pretty great, too.
Duende's are better than the average amp-of-the-month offerings in the boutique world.

I regularly gig with the Duende. Started out with the 15 watt combo. Moved up to the 30 watt combo. Back down to the 15 watt combo. Like the 6V6 so much more than the 6L6s. The A channel on the 15 is more AC30 while in the 30 it gets more Plexi. The B channel has as much gain if not more than my XTC, but it is much warmer and organic sounding.
Plus, you get independent reverb on each channel and a tasty trem. Also, you can have A and B at the same time, which opens some interesting in-between channel sounds.
For me it's the ultimate grab-n-go combo.
Good luck with the sale. Great price on a great amp.
Great with HTC

Lots of trade offers but I really just need to make some room in my office.
Hard to resist a trade offer from TA himself though...
But my Hollow Drop Top and T-Classic have me pretty well covered at the moment.
Am I asking too much for the Duende?
It cost me $2250 new and has never left my house. Still has that new-amp smell even.....
i understand. i have a moratorium against buying amps right now. i can't get a new one unless something goes. i am being a little loosey goosey since i'm allowing a guitar to go in place of an amp:o

I dunno if you're asking too much or not- but I read a couple of guys over on the Gear Page talking about how nobody is buying anything right now. Dunno if it's the gas prices or that time of year or what. Good luck with the sale, tho. Great amp.

Tempting but I think at some point I'll try to acquire a CT Atom with a Bigsby. It may not be for a year or two or more but I think that's the guitar I'll be keeping an eye out for. What are the specs on the Atom Special?

I would be had pressed to part with mine
all mahogany, 60's vibe neck, amber to med brown burst,M1 H2, 5way with kickback, pigtail bridge with bigsby, drop d tuner.
at this point i don't think ct's will be available with bigsbys since they won't fit in the case. i also had to do some pretty severe mods to make it fit right on the carved top.
