Hey Guys! Love the forum, I've had a TA Grand Am for about 15 years and just love it!
I live in Sydney and work as a Guitarist for different artists doing gigs and the odd session like most working muso's. Tom Anderson guitars are really rare here , I only know of one other guy that has one, Clive Lenditch. He lives in Sydney and plays for Manhattan Transfer and Paul Anka.

I came across the forum resarching into the Atom which is looking like the next purchase for me. Just have to find the right one. It's sounds like a really versatile guitar, plus it's light which my shoulder would appreciate.

Anyway I'm loving all the passion for these great instruments and hope to get some posts up soon!

Yes, TAGs are indeed very rare here in Australia. And I'd love to see more of them around.

This is a shot of what it looks like now, I had to give it a make-over last year.
Originally it had a locking tremolo and scalloped fingerboard. My playing has moved on from that era , so i had a new top put on to cover where the 'locker' (which was filled in with resin) and I have "lindy Fralin" pickups and a new neck of Brazilian Rosewood. I chose one of Tom's colours - Tobacco Fade. It's still a solid chunk of bookmatched Lacewood underneath.

I bought it from a guy who moved to Australia he had Tom build it for him in 88, on the inside of the neck joint it has a big TA and a date I think.
