When I posted yesterday a thread about Fav TAG Dealers I only meant the post to be what it was a Thank You to the people outside of TAG that help us with our guitars. In no way was my thread meant to be an endorsement or a bash of any dealers, I thought of it more as an informative post because I like most of you when we are looking for a new TAG generally browse the invetories of all the TAG Dealers that are listed on the TA web site, and I just wanted to let other forum members know who I talk with and before it was removed I learned a few names at other dealers across the USA to talk to. But based on some of the replies including the one from Tom Anderson I wish to apologize for breaking any of the forum's rules and I regret any problems I created for the forum and the other members involved.:(

Don't sweat it!

You were just trying to say some nice things about some nice people. Most forums are all about tearing people down and ragging on products. In an effort to keep a friendly community of posters, players, and dealers, we had previously agreed not to have "shout outs" or "prop's" as the kids say now adays.

This was a conversation you were not privy to as you joined much later, so don't even worry about it!

yes, don't sweat it. from time to time we just need to be reminded of who provides this place for us, and honor him. jack is an amazing person and doesn't get enough recognition for what he does for us every day. none of what i said was meant to be a scolding.

Kudos to Jack. No harm meant here, and I think it goes without saying that I (and most of us) would patronize any Anderson dealer - at least until I run out of checks :D.

Yep, no biggie. That is what is cool about this place. Egos are checked at the door. We all just try to make sure we keep this place better than every other forum out there. So we live by just a few rules, but they are good one.

Really is VERY nice of you to offer this post. Thanks so much!

As Roy says: HAPPY PLAYING!

As S of A says this was a conversation, a gentlemans and ladies agreement, before you time of joining. The policy is an unwritten rule that you would not know until you either ask or posted.

FWIW, when I saw the original post, I was going to provide a response...until I read down.

In any event, I'm going to go ahead and respond as I originally planned:

My favorite TAG dealer is Magdon Music, and in particular, Jack Gretz, who seems to make sure I get stuff less than 24 hours after ordering it. Plus, I think Jack sent me the first set of SF1s shipped without a guitar attached! Now how's that for immediate gratification? Oh, and Jack is a wealth of knowledge and wisdom.

My name is Lofton Harris and I approve this message.
