I know it's not technically an AMP, but I was just curious if any of you guys out there have any experience with this piece?
I know TONS of pros have used them both in the studio and on tour and I thought I would try it out in lieu of my Vox Tonelab for the "dirty" side of my Crowdy Plus...
I figure since I'm running through my Genz Benz Shen Pro for both sounds this might do the trick, but I'm not sure if it actually emulates CABINETS as well as amps... anyone know? It's not clear from their website...
By the way, I'm talking about the original PSA1 and not the new PSa1.1 (which I've heard is nice, but not as "pure" or "real" sounding as the original...
Anyway, any info would be appreciated.
I'm trying to get the best "combo" sound out of the crowdy and I have to admit that I haven't spent much time trying to tweak my Tonelab, but I have a desktop mount one and it's not very conducive to my stage...
That's one reason I prefer the idea of the rack mount sansamp...
If the Sans sounds as good as some people say, I may just sell the tonelab... (or just keep it in my studio if I sell my Vox VT combo"
Anyway, thanks guys...
