Ok, I converted an old vhs tape i had from the 80's from a place called Lab Systems. They were a Bradshaw type outfit, but trying to go retail. Anyway, lots of racks, boogie and Anderson guitars to be had.. 3 part series.. ready for a time warp? discuss.... :)

I remember Lab Sound. I bought a Mesa Boogie Mark III and Mesa 4x12 cabinet from the Lab Sound store in the San Fernando Valley in early 1986. As I recall, the Lab Sound in Hollywood became the current Mesa Boogie store.

That's awesome! :D I used to have dreams about such luscious and clean, chorusey tones. So smooth...

I was expecting to see Sean Tubbs jump out of that video somewhere - Brian S, IIRC he was quite the "punk" kid back then!!:p So much so, he'd do string skipping just to annoy everyone in the shop:rolleyes:

Imagine this:
At one point we had Shawn Tubbs, Glenn Pierce, Robert DeLeo, and Michael Ciravolo all working at the LAB stores. All went on to become great players and people as well!

What a great '80s/'90s flashback. My two favourite brands were both represented in full: Anderson and Boogie!
And did you check out that mullet!

Yeah, that was the launching pad for my industry career. After LAB, I wired rigs from home for a few years (like 100+) , then product design and development for a few years, then I went digital (), then did some string research, and now I have a real job! (but I still wear shorts and sandals to work!)
