Hello, folks. Glad to me a new member here. Serial number 11-15-07P has found a home. This thing is everything it looks like and so much more. What an amazing guitar from an amazing company.

I can't put it down! It has been many, many years since I've been this excited about playing, and I doubt the feeling will end soon. Cheers,

Dan

Hi Dan,
Welcome to the forum. Nice to meet another local Andy lover..
Did you buy at Richmond Music? If so, I think I actually strummed it a few times..1 5/8 happy medium neck isn't it? VA5s? Beautiful choice. Congrats! Maybe we'll run into one another at the store?

Hey Shaun.

Small world.

Yup. That's the one. Dave knows his stuff, eh? He's got me close to a T body now. I'm thinkin' about it! I played this Classic a few times, but was totally sold the second I plugged it in and heard the tone in positions 1 & 2 with the pull on. Wow!

Thanks for the welcome. That 335 in the pic was hanging up right next to it at Richmond Music just a few weeks ago. I gotta stay away from that place!

Wow, dude.
That is one Pretty Classic!

Man, those guys are just ARTISTS aren't they?

I can't believe that they can build guitars that look that good and actually sound BETTER than they look.

Congrats on the purchase and welcome to the "family.":)

Thanks, folks. I think I'm hooked. Picking up a T body tomorrow morning. I might be gone for a few days. :D

WOW! NEED PICTURES!

Giving 03-23-08P a test drive this afternoon. 03-23-08P isn't in the serial number db yet...

Its a trans blonde swamp ash solid. TD1-TD3 5-way switch. Sounds a little brighter than the last Tele I remember playing, so I cut the tone back a bit. The neck feels a lot like the 11/16 Classic, which is not a bad thing! Same low-rise frets.

WOW! The grain is really sweet on that one!

3-23-08P. I should have bought that. Would be my 49th birthday, and the initial of my last name! Going to have to beat Mr. DT up for that!

Have fun with that one Dan. Another real beauty.

Hey, dannopelli. Now I know who to get in touch with if I ever want to get rid of it. ;) She is a beauty. Very simple, but classy. The tones coming from this thing are sweet. Love it.

Thanks for the welcome, Jim. Sounds like there are a lot of people with good taste in guitars in VA. Cheers,

D
