Collings 290

Has anyone played or own a collings 290? and what is their opinions?

I played one in Boston last week. Cool guitar if you like a LP Special. They seem well-made.

I have had my 290 for a little over a year now, and it is one awesome guitar. The P-90's can be very mellow or they can really rock. Very versatile. The basic sound is thick and sweet. The neck carve is very comfortable to me. I switch between the 290 and my Andersons depending on the tone I'm going for.
