Jeff, KILLER score. (after checking the Alley site, I had noticed like 6 Andys had moved in like a week) I got on the phone with Brian H asking "when are you gonna move that NAMM Crowdster?":p :D

Thank Michael. I went down there on my lunch hour just to have a look. Three hours later, I was back after I sold a Germino and a Dabeck amp to fund it. It was a tough choice between the Crowdster and the brand-spanking new Fireburst Cobra Brian has tucked away (on the Charley's site but not yet on AA). I'd never strummed a Crowdster before and I didn't have any type of accoustic guitar whatsoever so I opted for getting something to fill a void. I know I'll miss the amps but I had to have the Crowdster.

But man, that Cobra is absolutely smoking and the pics on Charley's site doesn't do justice to the quilt top, nor the color of the guitar. Somebody is going to walk away from the store with a real prize, as I'm sure it won't stay there too long.

Jeff, you sold 2 amps in 3 hours???  (wanna move some of my stuff?:p ) If you're referring to that Cobra S on the Charley's site, agreed, it's really, really hard to see the top. And I'm with you on favoring the guitars over the amps. Over the last few years I've amassed way too many Hi-gain machines. Time to go back to the planks!

Jeff, you sold 2 amps in 3 hours???
One was sold within the 3 hours. For the other one, the guy promised to paypal me when he got home from work, which he did. I had 5 amps on Friday, so I could part with two of them. But....I have a Dr. Z Route 66 coming in too, so....

Does the GAS never end????

Does the GAS never end????

...if you have to ask....you're clearly afflicted....although they say that admitting you have a problem is the first step to kicking it...me on the other hand, I haven't a clue as to what you're talking about:rolleyes: :p

:D guilty!

Here's some "red" tint (as in a '68 Historic Reissue) that I picked up last month (sustain for days!):
