Congrats! I love the sonic blue with figured maple f/b! All you need is a mint guard and you're all set. ;)

I did not know Anderson did figured necks. That is really cool.

They don't, I have been begging Tom for years now. This must be an older guitar. Tom said the Birdseye isn't as stable long term as the rock maple.
I had a NAMM guitar with a neck just like this one. A shame fer sure, but that is a beautiful axe none the less...

Color is actually ICE BLUE and the pickguard and plastic plates have turned to a vintage yellow green .Pics are washed out. I changed out the bridge to a H2+ from a single coil and cut out the pickguard myself. There are 2 tiny holes in the guard from the slanted single coil. I think it adds to the vintage of the guitar.I called to order a new guard and discovered that the color would not be the same so I elected to alter it.This is the BEST guitar I will ever own PERIOD.I have been through many guitars and will always own this Hollow Classic. Thanks for the nice comments.

I think the ice blue and pearloid pickguard combo is killer! The neck is the crown on this jewel. I have an ice blue classic as well that I would love to change the pickguard on to a pearly.

Anyone have info on the covers. I know Tom Holmes was hired to make them. Remember reading that they were discontinued due to issues with the tone of the pickups. Any truth to this? If so I guess they gotta come off. Thought about leaving neck cover and taking off the bridge.I could see Jimmy Page playing a Hollow Cobra in a few years after dragging around those HEAVY Les Paul!:p
