Xotic BB plus is a great pedal!!!!!

Hey all, just got an xotic BB plus pedal, man, this thing is an amazing box. The left channel is like the BB but with low mid and high controls, plus a hard/soft button that goes from a more vintage sound when out, and a more tight modern sound pushed in. The right channel is more vintage marshall or kind of a cranked fender, with a single tone knob that brightens or darkens the pedal, plus the same hard/soft switch. The stacking feature is where the pedal really shines, you can run either channel into the other, and you can really get some super gainy rock tones or a fat more mid rangey tone depending on the stacking order. I found myself dialing up that Larry carlton tone from his first record, where it's just this fat kind of cranked fender or boogie tone, very very cool.
Just thought I'd share, and highly recommend this pedal, really puts most of my other od's to shame,

I've been using the BB preamp for a while now! It's one of my favorite drive pedals. I'm patiently waiting for the BB Plus to arrive soon.......:)

Well, I've had hundreds over the past few years. I currently own a couple versions of the fulldrive, and the BB really makes it sound thin. I've had the zendrive, and while the BB may not quite have that same touch sensativity, it really is a very dynamic pedal, it responds well to volume changes. I'd say the left channel is very very close to the single BB, but with more control, and the hard/soft switch really changes things up. Just FYI, I tried the AC plus and wasn't quite as blown away, it was a bit buzzy and brittle sounding, but then again, this is through a carr rambler, not the darkest of amps, so maybe on a marshall or el84 based section it'd sound better. I'd equate the right channel of the BB+ to any pedal that'll get you that cranked fender or early Jtm type sound. It can also kind of do the tube screamer thing, but with more girth and less low end loss.

Man now I have another one to add to the list! I love my BB and I bet the BB plus is amazing.
