Tom was swapping out the bridge pickup in my guitar on the next bench and there it was... Stan's Koa DT being assembled by Bruce Nelson.
Hope you love it as much as I did!!!
All the best,
Brian
PS - I played Tom's new guitar, too! Wow!

Brian,
I thouroughly enjoyed the Koa HDTC for the month or so I had it before I returned it to Tom for the neck replacement. No need to worry it is in good hands!
Thanks for keeping an eye on it and above all thanks for selling me the guitar!

Stan, what was it about the old neck that you didn't like?

Mark,
The neck was really too small for my tastes. It was a 1 5/8" nut, TA Standard. My favorite carve is a 1 11/16" 62 RB, which just happens to be the carve of the replacement neck. Brian really played this guitar so as a minimum it needed new frets. The cost of refretting is over half of the replacement neck so I opted for the later.

I see. I figured you would go for the roundback. Anyway, congrats, since it looks like you're getting the guitar back next week!
