I've got an H2+ in my DTC that I love, but I'm in the process of acquiring a Cobra with an M2 in the bridge. I've heard it makes for a good complement to the M1's in the neck and middle but will it not be as hot as the H2+ that I'm used to? Would an M3 be around as hot as the H2+?
Also, I've had mini-humbuckers like a Duncan JB Jr. in the bridge of my strat before and didn't care for the tones. Will the M2 or M3 sound like a traditional humbucker? Thanks guys!
Ya, same deal with the JB Jr. Not into its tones. I'm thinking an M2 will be a lil thicker than that Duncan. I've got a Tele to do that change to.
Everyone I've talked with, report back that an M2 is a great choice to compare it as a thicker mini. Anyone else?!?

No, an M2 isn't going to be like an H2+. An M3 is close to an H2+, yet it's still different in that it's super hot, but still a "mini" humbucker.

Thanks Bruce. I was wondering if the M pickups still sounded like "mini" humbuckers ala my JB jr.
i don't think they sound as nasal as the jr sounds.
