Hey guys,
Now that I officially have one on the way, I'm dying to know...

How many other Koa guitars have Tom and the guys built so far?

Anyone out there know?

Also, specifically, how many Koa Crowdsters and C+'s have been made too?

Finally, If you HAVE a Koa topped Andy in ANY flavor, Post pics up here to wet my whistle until my new "swiss army axe" arrives in my ever-so-sweaty palms:p

Thanks,
Shannon

Of course, you've seen this one. I love it and want to have dinner on it with fine china and linen napkins.

I can't say I have ever heard that line before! :D

Beautiful C+ though...

I know a guy who has an S-type Anderson with a flamed koa top.. stunning.

I think kccheers' Koa Crowdster is the most beautiful one I've seen. I'd love to try to talk him into selling it to me, but I doubt he'd ever let it go and I wouldn't blame him one bit. The top and color is just stunning.

It seems like lately, the tops aren't all that figured. I saw pics of the one at Atlanta Music Brokers because I was interested in buying it, but it seemed very light colored with little figure. Not like the dark, flamey, striped Koa that I've been used to seeing over the years. Tom, do you still get pieces like that?

Even Earthworm's Koa C+ looks very different from the ones I've seen and grown to love. His is nice in a different way, but not the traditional look of Koa tops that I'm used to seeing.

I was thinking Basswood when I saw it. That guitar is crazy good looking! If you ever get bored with it, feel free to send it my way...

LOL, I kept my eyes open for the right TA over a year. When I saw this, my head spun!! It plays and sounds as good as it looks, andIi'm proud to own such a great guitar.;)
