Can I send two of my Anderson's to their factory and have the necks swapped? Both are 4-bolt (pre-wedgie) necks.

One ---is OK. The other is possibly the nicest feeling neck I've ever had my hands on.

Just thought I'd ask. Thanks for info.

Why not just have the neck you don't like replaced with one identical to the one that you do like? Then you have two ideal necks. ;)

You know, I have considered the same but can't you just unbolt them both and swap them out. Maybe I am misreading the question but it seems that two Anderson necks from two Anderson bodies could be swapped pretty easy, no? Might need some setup afterward but shouldn't be impossible, right?

they old style necks were hand fit at assembly, so they will not necessarily be reversible. if they are different width's, we do cut the pocket differently for each. what shapes are they and what woods?

The one I like:
TA Standard (Even Taper)
Maple board. Satin finish.
1 11/16 at nut.

The one I LOVE:
TA Standard. +.50 over sized.
Rosewood board. Satin finish.
1 5/8 at nut.

That +.50 oversized is such a wonderful feel.

there would have to be some neck pocket adjustment to make that work.
