What's on your wish list for Anderson guitars?
I just ordered a Hollow drop Top! Hope to get a classic soon after!

i am andyLESS and i think after owning one of his classic strats i'm leaning towards:

cobra
cobra hollow
cobra hollow S
drop top classic
classic hollow T w/nashville set up

i thinking cobra solid or hollow is the direction i'll settle but i almost purchased a classic but instead grabbed another grosh.
all tom's stuff that i've been exposed to is first rate and the voicing of his instruments are very articulate and direct compared to everything else i've tried. my first thoughts were they lacked warmth but after being andyLESS and enjoying a TA guitar that was always in tune, everywhere, and able to slice through other instruments even when played at moderate volumes, i have realized the errors of my ways.

I never really was a tele fan but after seeing last weeks Guitar of the week I would love to get a "Rosewood" tele.

Definitely leaning towards the Crowdster-Garrett Park has an awesome one on their website-quick, someone buy it so I don't!!! I might also look into special ordering a drop top-I want to get one of those white tusk colored ones-I love that color.

Thanks John. I actually saw that on Sunday which is my official "Look at the Anderson Guitar of the Week Day"!! That one is smoking although I'm a little more partial to the one GP guitars already has. I put out an offer for a used XTC101B-if the person selling it turns down my offer, I may go for the Crowdster. I sure wish I could play one first though.

All I want is one of each. Well, OK, maybe two.

I have to say that my hollow drop top has eased my electric GAS. My current GAS is for a Collings Dread. Opps! Sorry, it's not an Anderson.

Right now I'm thinking hollow T.
Something closer to a real tele would be way cool.

Damnit John, cut it out already!! BTW-I think it was you that mentioned you've played one. If so, how does the neck feel (does it feel more like an electric), what kind of volumes were you getting from it unplugged, and what kind of eq adjustments did you need to do on the guitar. Thanks, Mark

Hello Mark/Pluto,
Well it does play like an electric with a great feeling neck profile that is very comfortable to play! It wasn't designed to act like a real acoustic guitar in the acoustic sence if you know what I mean so its not that loud acoustically!!!! AH! OK!!!
I played it through a GenzBenz Acoustic amp and got a huge rich and natural sound running the EQ flat! The EQ on the guitar is very sensitive giving you plenty of room to make some nice usable adjustment's if you need to.

Overall I really love this guitar and plan on purchasing one after the new year!
I already have a Hollow DropTop coming in October!!!:D

John, thanks for the info. Congrats. on your Hollow Drop Top. What kind of color and pickup configurations did you get? Oh yeah, I forgot to ask how the action was on the Crowdster. I'm assuming it was a little higher than an electric Anderson based on the review in Guitarist magazine. I ask because the last acoustic guitar I bought (an Ovation Al Dimeola sig.) had extremely low action and played like an electric.

Thanks Mark!
The crowdster that I played had a nice low action! I think I would prefer a lighter gauge string but that's just me!!!!

I ordered it with H/S/S in Deep Ocean Blue...Can't wait....

My wish list has almost the entire TA line, but my priorities are: a Swamp Ash classic with VAs and maple board, a Hollow Cobra and a Hollow T Classic.

I've got a Hollow Drop Top Koa on Basswood and a Classic SAs/H2+, Alder/Rosewood with SDs/H2+.
Both are fantastic guitars, but I'm in a mood for a more vintage one, although my Classic sounds good enough for me, it's never enough.

I'll be in Hawaii and NYC for a few days in December, and I'll definitely bring something home.

Great to see you posting here, Felipe.
You have great taste in guitars. I've always admired your McInturf collection.

Let us know what you pick up.
