Hey guys and gals...

First post here while I (im)patiently await the UPS truck to deliver my new Koa Crowdster...

Got it from Wildwood Guitars and was impressed by the level of professionalism. I was really suprised by the sound of the Crowdster after trying out one that my friend owned. It was a natural that he purchased from Ryman150 a while back. I have a Taylor 314ce and actually bought a 614ce thinking I would be set. I took the 614ce back to GC and decided to take the plunge into an Anderson.

On another note, I have not seen many listings for the Koa Crowdster...is it new?

Wow! A koa topped Crowdy! I like the shaded edge too, very nice! Congratulations on the T-5 killer!

Welcome to the forum and Congrats on the Koa Crowdster+ - its a beauty!

Great first Anderson acquisition! Not too many koa crowdsters out there due to the challenge of limited availability of usable koa and establishing a reliable source. I believe orders for koa topped guitars are still accepted but on a limited/as available basis.

You may very well be one of the first koa crowdster+ owners :) Our fellow forum member and buddy, kccheers had the honors of commissioning the first koa topped crowdster (non +) in 2007 :D

Enjoy!

This is because it is hard for them to get a good supply of koa. You are very fortunate to be able to acquire such a piece.

Congrats on the Koa Crowdster! I wish mine were koa... Like you, I tried the T5 previous to buying the Crowdster. The acoustic sounds were ok, but I hated the electric tones. The C+ that I have sounds WAY better as both an acoustic and electric over the T5.

I think I just wet myself... :o

That's my dream Crowdster. I love figured Koa... Man if anyone wants to trade theirs for a flame maple one I'd be all over that.
