Hey, I'm new to the forum, so I hope this post is OK--thanks for welcoming me!
I own two Andersons, a trans blue alder Classic with maple neck, and a trans plum maple/alder Drop Top Classic with rosewood fingerboard. They're both stellar instruments, but I've found over the past few years that I've been gravitating toward my maple neck instruments, so I've been gradually selling off my guitars with rosewood and ebony fingerboards.
This Anderson is the last non-maple fingerboard guitar I own, actually, and I've been very reluctant to sell it, since it's such a beautiful and toneful instrument, which lead me to wonder if someone might be interested in a trade for another Anderson ? It would be a lot easier to let this guitar go in a trade for an equally-beautiful Anderson that I'd be more likely to get real use out of.
My guitar was featured on the Anderson site when it was new back in 2002:

I don't have any current photos of the guitar, but I'll certainly be happy to take some if the trade talk were to get serious. The guitar looks exactly as in these photos, though--it's in mint condition.
I'd consider trading for virtually any Anderson with a maple fingerboard--I like 'em all. I'm more interested in solid guitars than hollow ones, and I'd be particularly interested in another Drop Top, Pro Am, or Classic. But the only absolute must is the maple neck--maybe I'm weird, and many of my favorite players use rosewood and ebony fingerboards, but I just don't feel comfy and happy on anything other than maple. Maybe it's because my first good guitar was a maple neck Strat, and I played it for many years before considering any other instruments.
So, hey, thanks again for welcoming me to the forum, and please feel free to contact me via email if you have an Anderson you'd be interested in trading for mine.
Best!
