I am currently playing a 2007 Cobra S with the buzzy feiten tuning system. All intonation (open string / 12th fret) looks good on my Korg DT7 tuner. However, when I play an "F" bar chord in the 1st position the "A" on the 3rd string 2nd fret is sharp. When I lower it to be in tune then the 3rd string open is flat. Any suggestions?

that's one of the hardest shapes to get perfect. tuning and finger pressure have to be really really good. i have learned much about my personal finger style through all this. i used to use uneven finger pressure to fix things before. now i have learned to even out my finger pressure and have the best results ever. if this is your first guitar with the tuning system, give it a little time. it makes most shapes sound so good that we go on the hunt for perfection. it doesn't exist though. over all the tuning system makes and over all intuneness that i love. i would go back and forth between a regular guitar and this one and see what sounds more pleasing to you. if you like the intuneness of a standard guitar, you can intonate this one normally.
