Fake Drop Top on the Bay?

If this is real then it would probably be a great deal for someone that wants to finish it. But the more I look at it the more I see many things wrong with it as compared to a finished drop top. Tom was somebody dumpster diving out back?

The headstock shape does not look right but maybe it's like that because it was sent unfinished? Also no serial number?

it's a parts guitar. doesn't look like it has a forearm contour to me. we made the body and neck as parts, someone else assembled.
