Schecter/Anderson

Today I played a killer old (?) Schecter strat with H/S/S. What a cool guitar! It was pretty much a TAG Classic. It was clear coat over swamp ash with a maple neck/fretboard and a black pickguard. The neck felt very much like the TA standard on my HDT, and it was nice and broken in. Plugged it in and it sounded awesome.
Does anyone know much about these? The serial # was (I think). Just curious as to the age and if it fell into the timeline when Tom was there. It's on consignment for $875.

i was there from '77-middle 84. serial numbers are pretty meaningless, but i can fairly easily identify pictures from the different eras. the necks we made when i was there were more like our 60's vibe than our even taper standard neck.
