See pic below, I have always wanted a strat style guitar in this color and it is just 100 times better that it is a Tom Anderson Guitar!! Can Tom or someone tell me if the Classic models are routered out to fit full size humbuckers in the bridge and neck positions? Can you describe how much hotter or fuller sounding the VA23 VA12 etc. is compared to the VA2?

yes, the body is routed for a hb in neck and middle. the va23 is a va2 on the weaker side and a bit hotter than that on the other. the va12 is a va 2 on the hotter side and a va1 on the weaker side.

Tom, is the bridge position routed to fit a full HB? Is the VA23 hotter than the VA2? Is the VA12 hotter than the VA2? What is the cost for a pearloid pickguard direct from you with standard trem, (Bridge HB) HSS cut out?

sorry, i'm a dope. the body is routed for neck and bridge hb's. va12 is not hotter than va2. the hot side of the va23 is hotter than the va2. the va 12 is like a va 1 and va2 together. the va23 is like a va2 and va3.
pearl pickguards are $60+shipping. we will be making some next week.

Thanks Tom!

Fedex dropped it off yesterday and as usual the guitar has surpassed any expectation as all TA guitars have done for me in the past....different than the DT's Cobra's etc but very inspiring to play. The one on the right side just arrived, left side is my main player.

could it be the floyd and humbucker?

Could be! LOL!! I have had a number of different model love the Hardtail Cobra, standard trem on the DT's , just happened to be another floyd but a difference pickup config. could also be my favorite wood combo's mah/maple or bass/maple never get along with maple boards rosewood is my thing. The Classic was alder, had a pro am in Alder not really my liking either. I like the regular TA pickups, the VA's not so much. Had to try it for myself.;)
