does anyone here float their Andy's tremolo for a little pull up or do most of you just leave it flat against the body?
Pros and cons to floating (other than palm muting or resting your palm on it making it sharp a tad?)

I always float my bridges. I think that a floating bridge gives the guitar a sort of resonance (my theory is that the springs in the cavity work sort of like a reverb tank) that you dont get when you have the bridge flat on the body.
I use the bar a LOT and think that I hve better tuning stability with a properly set up floating bridge.

I'm a floater!
I like to have just a little play in the trem so I can bring it back ever so slightly! Great for a little vibrato effect........

I setup mine to float. I prefer the ability to pull up and the improved responsiveness of the bar, plus you dont get the sound of the bridge knocking on the guitar body when using the trem for vibrato etc. The only down side is open strings going out of tune when you bend.

Do they not when it's against the body? I mean, you're still doing the same action. Maybe I just am not understanding.:)

If you setup the guitar tremolo to rest on the body, you can adjust the spring tension tight enough so that the bridge doesn't move when you perform some of those monster 3 string bends...:D or any type of bend for that matter!.....
