HI All,
I've been away from the board for some time so I'm not sure if I've missed this topic, but has any one had their crowdster retro fitted with a C+ humbucker? If so what sort of money are we talking? and did it have to go back to the TA factory?
Thanks
T
we've done 2. $400 and we would have to do it. it's a very involved wiring.
slightly off topic, but most of the crowdsters we do these days are plus's. wondering how many people regularly use the electric side?

I use the electric side nearly every time I use my crowdster, I'd say about 70% of the songs I play. But... when I want a great sounding plugged in acoustic-only guitar, I just switch the mode to mono and away I go.
The electric side makes this guitar for me... even with it's one-pickup "limitations".

I am in the Pietro camp. I use the electric side WAY more than the acoustic side. Not that the acoustic side is inferior, it is AWESOME. I just have more calls to use the electric side.

Truth be told, I have better sounding electrics than the electric side of my C+ (none better-playing or better-looking however). BUT... I have NO better sounding acoustic sound available to me than the acoustic side.
You done REAL good, Tom!

I use them both on mine, still using the PowerBlend pedal. The acoustic side sounds more like an acoustic than the other guitar player's Guild. The overall natural resonance plus the heavier strings seem to help a lot.
