I'm watching a concert of Ringo Starr's All-Starr Band on DirecTV's HDNet channel thru my fabulous 61" DLP TV. One of his musicians is Roger Hogdson (formerly of SuperTramp) playing a Droptop in a stunning amberish quilt finish. Wow, what a beautiful guitar!
What are those additional switches located slightly behind/below the bridge?

Saw Ringos all stars in 1992 . Great show . Joe walsh, Dave Edmonds, Burton Cummings, Nils Lofgren, Timothy B. Schmidt , Todd Rungren, Zack Starkey . Who is the big dude that used to play sax and keys for Tina Turner ? He was in there too . I remember Dave Edmonds doing an instrumental of Lady Madonna on an old Tele . Finger pickin country style version . Sounded great .

Could it be a switcharoo? Maybe they slid the switches back?

What's he playing it through, can you see?

If you mean amp-wise, it looked to be a Fender Hot Rod DeVille Combo. Ian Hunter had a nice Gibson Goldtone 1/2 stack.
I miss my Goldtone head.

I always wanted to try one of those amps, what sort of tone is it, like a vox, or more fenderish? Surprising that guy only had a deville, it seems like he would have had a more tonefull amp for that guitar. I never could get those amps to sound right.
