Yeah they sound really sweet, very nice clean sound alot nicer than the original Sovtek. He also gave me 2 used EL84's,they sound alot brighter o/driven when compared to the Sov's.
Hope this is of use..

paul_goggo is his ebay handle.Looks like hes runout, you could drop him an email,he used to repair TV's thats where he got the mullards from.He was selling 2 Mazda valves, that were a UK brand..?he said that they where made under licence by Mullard.
I dont like the EL84's to much they seem really bright.I just got 2 more aswell off ebay..!
Maybe its my ears...
Did you know Groover tubes are doing a Mullard copy, thats released any time now.
Chandler Guitars are selling them

http://www.chandlerguitars.co.uk/
They've had good reports from Harmony-central,Chandler quoted me around £20 quid a valve.

In England how about Watford Valves?

www.watfordvalves.com

As far as the ECC83's Groove Tube is in the process of introducing VERY accurate repros of the Mullard ECC83s. I bought the 6L6GE repros they introduced earlier this year and was amazed. It may be worth a look, they are accurate in gain, output and transconductance to the original Mullards.
