So I had the amazing opportunity of stopping in at the Anderson Guitarworks shop yesterday! I've just got to say that it was an incredible experience. We all know they make great guitars, but the people behind the product are about as good as it gets.

It's such a cool thing to be a part of as an "Anderson Player", and I think many of you would agree. I am very proud to play these guitars.

Tom gave me the full tour. From the point the wood is dropped off at the shop to the time that each guitar is inspected before shipping, I was blown away in how everything is thought out to the T (haha, no pun intended).;)

Anyways, I just wanted to post a note on the great experience I had. Thanks to Tom, Roy, Laurie, Bruce, Eric, and everybody at the shop for making such great guitars and for being such great people!

Cool story. Man, would I ever love to tour the A shop.

Tom, do you guys ever have guitars onsite that are not already committed to certain dealers/customers? In other words, could a guy ever walk into your shop and walk out with a guitar? Just curious....

just playin' Jeff! In my experience, the folks at TAG are fiercely loyal to the dealer network that's been established. And the issue of Anderson Guitar sourcing (and pricing) was never more obvious to me than during all of the fireworks of last year, where this topic appeared to take on a life all on its own. Additionally, as TAG guitars are basically "made to order" for a particular dealer or customer, there seems to be little chance of having an axe that's unspoken for, unless someone cancels an order. Given all of that, I was just inferring that "factory direct" procurement is probably not an option available to most of us.:)
