OK folks, this one just came and it is a BEAUTY. After my wife's accident I tried to cancel the order but it was too late. So I just took delivery and it has to go back out in order to pay some medical bills (just had my gallbladder out to boot!). I really wish I could keep this one, but since I already have 1 Atom (my main walnut top one, which I hope to hang on to, but one of them has to go), this one is up for grabs.

Since I need the money for medical expenses, I need to recover as much of my cost as I can, but I don't need any more than that. So, it will go to the highest offer, but if I get more than my cost, I'll donate the difference to a charity of my choice (most likely World Vision or Compassion International). I'm offering it up here and on the Gear Page forum first, then to ebay in a couple of days if it doesn't get much interest.

It is literally brand new in the case, never been played. I took it out of the case to take photos, and put it right back in. The select top (personalized tubular quilt maple) is unbelievable...even better in person than the photos. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE BURST IS NOT AS ABRUPT AS IT LOOKS IN THE PHOTOS...it's more subtle and smooth (like other DCbursts). A world class job by the Anderson guys, as always.

Here are the specs:

Model - Atom
Body Finish - Dark Cherry Burst with Binding
Body Wood - Personalized Quilted Maple on Mahogany
Neck Wood - Mahogany, Indian Rosewood Fretboard
Neck Finish - Matching Headstock and Back, Satin
Nutwidth - 1 11/16 in
Frets - Heavy
Back Shape - 60's Vibe (formerly '62 roundback)
Hardware - Chrome
Bridge - Wrap Around Bridge, Locking Tuners
Pickups - HO1- H2
Switching - 5 Way for Atom with Kickback Switch
Strings - .009-.046 Elixir strings
Comments - Buzz Feiten Tuning System

$3,000 and I'll throw in CONUS shipping...

Please feel free to email me at guitarrev at gmail dot com if you have any questions.

God bless, and thanks for checking it out!

That's a beautiful guitar. Sorry that you have to let it go, but hopefully it'll find a good home.

The most important thing is for you and your wife to get healthy, so here's to good health.

Yep, you're right. My surgery was last Thursday, and I'm coming along fine...each day is better than the last. For my wife it's been a couple of months, and she's doing well. So now it's just paying for all of it!

This one's beautiful and I hate to let it go, but I have to. I didn't even plug it in, because I knew if I did, letting it go would be that much harder...

I just hope it goes to someone on the fourm so I know it will get a good home!

No takers yet? I hate to have to put this on ebay, but I'll have to get it up tomorrow if no interest by then. Hopefully it will get a good home one way or another...
