Has anyone tried wiring an M1 or M1- in parallel with itself? I'm especially interested if it's in an M/M/H Atom.

Are thinking about replacing your M1- pups in your Atom with M1's? I'm looking at going the opposite direction in my HTDT and would be curious to know your impressions of the M1-.

parallel doesn't work good on the m's. the output drops, but the tone gets duller.

I prefer the M1-'s because they are a bit more single-coily. If I remember correctly, Tom says that they don't so much have more highs than an M1, but less lows.

I'm sticking with the M1-'s for now until I hear an M1 with the kickback circuit. Tom says that M1+kickback is more single-coily than M1- by itself. I think a local Andy-aholic is getting a guitar with this setup soon!!! I can't wait to check it out.
