Can anyone help me iron out a bit of confusion on the spec' for a new classic. I've asked for a master spiltter, but one email that has come back referes to 'mini switch splits' - are these both the same thing?

Yes they are the same as long as B5 is not in the equation. Mini splits says it splits all 5 pickup positions, while B5 always has the 5th position unsplit (full humbucker).
