I have been looking for a new T and it's nearly impossible. What's happening? I need a TAG fix and don't need a third Classic.
I am finding Classics, Atoms, Drop Tops, all over the place......though not a lot of them. Anybody got any clues?
I know I could place an order but instantaneous gratification is a way of life:)
inventories in general are at an all time low. we have been shipping quite a few T's, if you email me some specs, i'll see what i can find.

How about this one?

Also, I see you live in Georgia, so check out Atlanta Music Brokers in Roswell, GA. I bought the twin of this one last year from Tim...

If you want a "Nashville" Tele, this one has the lighest Swamp Ash body I've ever felt.

Tom,
Thanks for the quick reply. I just sent email to aguitars@earthlink.net.
Will that get to you?

That Swamp Ash "Nashville" is pretty close. I don't want a Drop Top T. Already have one of those. Slab body this time.

That's also at Atlanta Music Brokers in Roswell. I would have bought it myself if it had a maple board. I still play it every time I go in there and have been tempted more than once! It sounds great and is so light, it really feels hollow.

What would be the closest to the Tiger Eye Burst that could be done on Ash? I don't really want a 3 Color Burst. One of my Classics is Tabacco Burst and I wanted something really pretty but different than that Classic.
i'm not sure wat to suggest. the figured maple is what makes all the gradation in color happen on tiger eye. maybe light desert sinset?

You should at least take a trip to Roswell to play the Tele there. It really is an amazing guitar. Besides, you'll remove the temptation from me so that I can pay for my Chapman Stick when it's done!!!;)

I would highly recommend either light or standard Desert Sunset. It looks fantastic on Swamp Ash. Personally, its my favorite Anderson burst for alder or Swamp Ash. IMHO.

Go to the GOTW archives and check August 13th, 2006. That's one I had done in Desert Sunset and although it's done on a Mahogany body it will give you an idea on a non figured, non maple top,

After looking, I think the Light Desert Sunset is the way to go.
I think the gold hardware will look good on that color too.
I am going for the color of the Fender Merle Haggard Tele.....but I don't want figured wood, nor hollow on this one.

The Merle Haggard Tele is nice; I played one at Ted's Pro Music in Gainesville (GA). My main complaint is just like many of the current Fenders, there is so much finish on the neck that it doesn't feel like wood anymore...that and the excessive price tag for what you get!

I played the one at Ted's Pro Music. That guitar is pretty nice for a Fender, but it ain't no TA! But I do love that color.
And, you're right, that is way too much money when I can get a TA for less. And get better quality, SS frets, and talk to the CEO if I need to!
I love my TAG guitars!
