I've recently fallen in love with Bigsby trems.

Hi Gary,

I've always loved Bigsby's over Floyds. I'm not a metal-head. Tom's mod on them is brilliant. I've modded 2 others that I have like my Atom's Bigsby.

Drilling out the pins and running the strings around and then through the bar. Way better than trying to keep the strings on the silly pins.

How do you like the Hollow Atom over a non-hollow one? That's the other variable I've been considering. Yours is as far from mine as an Atom can get (nearly). . mind is M-M-H and solid without a bigsby.

Gary, I've only played a solid Atom in a shop. I haven't had both side-by-side. So, it's hard for me to compare. I really like my Hollow Atom, it rings very nice and is very open sounding. I've got a couple of solid Mahogany/Maple top guitars and this one beat them all when clean. Distorted, it gets harder to tell them apart.

I really dig the new HW2A at the bridge, it just sounds great.
