Hi Tom,

I use the Tone Press and like it.

It can deliver the classic Knopfler Communique-type sound, and it can also function as a great clean boost with no color. The Blend knob is a nice twist since most stomp box comps give you little control over attack time.

The pedal is also very quiet, and hi-quality build.

I've done recordings with the Tone Press and the AnalogMan Comprosser and they both deliver exactly the tone I want, but the Tone Press has the extra flexibility.

Gotta agree. I have the Tone Press on my gig board and love it. Quiet and very flexible with the ability to blend the clean signal back in. Now I just have to pick up another for my practice pedalboard. Highly recommended! :D
