No more Koa tops?

Just been wandering through the guitar gallery (again) and the last guitar in the Cobra section is a STUNNING bookmatched Koa top, is there no longer an option for this wood ?? Taylor and the likes appear to have it in abundance?:)

really nice koa has been in short supply for a while now. it takes almost the same amount of wood to make an electric top as it does an acoustic set. most acoustic guys are charging $700 or more for nice koa. i don't think too many electic guys will pay that. i am working on an old source that may pan out but at this point it's just talk. and you know what they say about talk.
