Preferred PU for a Cobra

I have one on order (solid body S) with an H3 & a H1. I allready have a Drop Top with a H2+ & a H1- that I love.

What do you think about the H3/H1 combonation fo the solid Cobra S?

I love jazz, fusion, Blues, Rock, and Metal

That should work out just fine with a little more bite! ;)

I prefer the H2+ and H1- combination on the cobra s. To me, those pickups are just right for that guitar-hot especially for high gain with still lots of clarity, but doesn't get overly muddy or lose its focus. I've never tried the H3/H1 combination on a cobra s, but what I can say is that the H2+/H1- is imo just perfect with that guitar.

As an owner of a Cobra and a Cobra S, both of which have the H1-/H2+ neck/bridge combo, I'll SECOND that!:cool:
