Hi All,
I am the lucky owner of a Hollow T classic from 1990, making it going on 17 years old ? ( brilliant mathematical mind;) ) which i bought on the forum through Sean ( thanks buddy) :)
My question , is there any advantage of fitting new saddles on the chrome plated original tele style bridge ? ie the ones on Andersons now are by L R Baggs (i think), which appear to have a "different " material where the strings comes away from it?
Can anyone comment on its possible improvement to the sound?:)

the ones your talking about are either the fishman we were using for a number of years or the garphtech ferra glides we have been using for the past year. if your guitar has the traditional bridge that surrounds the pickup, that has a different spacing than we currently use, so the fishman's won't work. i'm not sure that graphtech makes one for that either, but you could check with them. that bridge has a 2.125" spacing from E to E, and the saddles are longer than a strat saddle.. if you're not having string breakage issues, i wouldn't change them.
