I love the Duncan Custom 5 pickup (14 vDC) in my Les Paul, and Soloist. The H2+ seems a little lower-output to me, and I was wondering if the H3 pickup has the extra punch I seek?
Are there any specs (resistance measurements) on the H3, vs. the H2+? Not after a Super Distortion here, just more than the H2+ has to offer.
Thoughts? and, thanks!

I have an H3 in my Cobra. Its not a super distortion . Its fairly hot and ballsy . Sorry , dont have any resistance info .
dc resistance comparrison between our h series and conventional humbucker like the duncan are fairly meaningless because of construction style. if you're after more beef without a loss of high end, the H3 is a great choice.

Yeah, thanks, that sounds about right - more beef, but not muffled.
With my missing tone knob and custom wiring....any tips on how to not fry my guitar while changing the pickup?!
should be straight forward, the colors are all the same.

I have to try one thing--raising the H2+ higher. Forgot to do that, and know it's lower than 1/16th! Stay tuned!
our humbuckers do have weak at the strings magnetic fields, so you can crank them up for more output.

I'll give that a shot before altering the fine solder work! :D
