M PUP in a HDTC?

With all the discussion about the M series pickups, I'm wondering how an M1 or M2 would work in the neck position of a HDTC in place of the typical SD1R. What would the trade-offs be in terms of tone and flexability?

we have already taken orders for some. they sound great in longer scale guitars as well as cobra's. they are made for one sound only, not splitable, so they won't do as many things as stacks, but they do what they do really well.

Thanks Tom. I think I'll stick with the SD1R this time out for the little bit of added flexability.
